TalkTalk Woes

Hello,
At the start of the year I moved properties, I contacted TalkTalk and explained that I was going to be moving. I was told that the contract was on would be changing and the new offer was less attractive. I said thanks but no thanks and asked to be disconnected.
Since then they appear to have disconnected my old line (and charged me to cancel the contract) and moved the line anyway, sending me bills for the new account.
I have contacted TalkTalk (twice) who have identified the problem and agreed that I should not be getting charged. But the letters keep appearing and each time I call I have the same conversation and am assured they will 'sort it out'.
I am worried that if they continue, I will get black marks on my credit rating and eventually the bailiff will arrive.
Anyone have any advice?

Hi Alexh,
Sorry to hear you've had some problems with billing at an address you've moved out from. Is it possible for you to register at https://www.talktalkmembers.com/forums then I can take a look into this for you?
Cheers

This is extremely common with Talk Talk, they have dreadful CS.
They were billing me for months for a service I no longer had, going around in circles with them, as you same conversation over and over again, letters back and forth, they just don't have a clue, they are a useless shower....
I had to to the matter higher and eventually got it sorted, but it shouldn't have to come to this, and it should keep happening, they've had years to get things right, but nothing has changed. A company that should be avoided at all costs. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0 -
Hi Emma, I'd love you sign up to the talktalk members to get the issue resolved but after entering my phone number and account number I was told the account didn't exist.
Thanks for the reply BexTech, guess I will just have to keep grinding away till it gets resolved.0 -
Hi Alexh,
I've PM'd you an e-mail address to contact my team. The fact that you can not register on the forums suggests the account is disconnected as the forum only accepts active account numbers.
Cheers

I second BexTech. Have recieved dreadful customer services from talktalk. Hopefully solved it today, have been offered a refund of monies they stole from me and compensation for their poor service. That money comes to £71.30 leaving me with £1.30 after I pay £70 to cancel my contract early!!!
Try emailing their customer services alexh, they have greater ability to make ammendments and offer refunds.0 -
Rather large brushstrokes there!BexTech1 wrote:Talk Talk, they have dreadful CS.
Although I'm not a TT customer most of my eldery relatives are and if I ever have to phone for anything I've always had great service. Including just this morning. The CS agent I spoke with obviously knew their stuff and was very polite.
All companies have problems of course but it's how they sort them that matters.0 -
Hi Alexh,
Thanks for the e-mail. I've replied as I need a little more info from you. Once I have this I should have you sorted out in no time.
Cheers
