New Driver Insurance Help

Hi,

I have held a non-eu licence for almost 9 years and have moved to Uk a couple of years back. I was allowed to drive on my original licence for a year although I didn't get a car but now had to take a full GB licence ( theory and practical test) . I am now planning to buy a car but the insurance quote is coming extremely high ( 1600-1700 £'s on all comparison sites) . I am choosing a small car like ford focus 2000 model.

Is there anyway I can show the non-eu driving experience to reduce the premium ?

If you can obtain written confirmation in English from your Indian Insurer that shows you have had insurance within the last three years and confirms youn held insurance for 1 year or more then Norwich Union will allow this as a no claims bonus. Speak to a local broker as they can direct you
