Newspaper coupon summary for Wednesday 22nd March 2006

Morning all,
Please post here if you get a Wednesday paper or have the chance to look through one - tell us if there are any coupons in or not.
Important details are:
Page number
Whether its a regional edition
Expiry date of the voucher
Whether its store specific and has a barcode.
The cost of the newspaper
Remember if you go shopping look in as many newspapers as you can - Post even if you don't see any coupons.

The Sun today which costs 35p has a voucher for a FREE bag of McCain Home Fries worth £1.69 - this entitles you to a free 750g or 1.5kg bag. Coupon valid from 22nd March until 22nd April. It states that if you have a problem redeeming your voucher to call 0800 146573. The voucher is barcoded and should scan at Tescos without any problems - hope so I just bought 10 copies !!!
(I cut out the vouchers and handed the papers to my colleagues in work).

I'm sure Iceland had these chips on BOGOF last week - hope the offer is still on!0

There is a 50 pence coupon in the Daily Mail off You magazine sorry did not catch the page number expires 27th March

According to gritts at rpoints:
Went to get my chips - would not scan.
As there was a freephone number I called McCain and they said they already had had a lot of similar comments and they were telling the likes of Tesco head office to get the staff to enter the barcodes numbers manually.0 -
Yeah I found the same at Tesco too. Looks like the non scan was put in as a safety mechanism to stop using the coupon without purchase. Still they are very nice chips so they won't go to waste...There is no need to run outside

Apparantly there is an offer for buy one get one free ferroro rocher at woolworths they are about 5 quid odd a pack use by thursday its for mothers day.
