Aaaarrrgggghhhh!! Addresses!!!

I've recently moved back home from London. Took my London address off my paypal account and thought all was sorted. Not so.

Bought a shedload of stuff off ebay last night, paid in one lump through paypal and only noticed this morning that paypal has used my old London address for all the items

I have a redirection set up, but this doesn't seem to have caught parcels so far. Have messaged all the sellers to advise of the incorrect address, and hopefully they'll read it before sending the items. Have had 2 messages early this morning to say items would ship today so i can only hope that they get the change of address message before they do.

:(

Is there anything else I can do?

Phone up Paypal and shout at them? (or at least find out why they are using an address you have removed!)
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Had e-mails back from 4 sellers (6 in total) confirming that they're sending to my new address. 1 already sent it to the old address, so i've rung Royal Mail and begged them to redirect the parcel for me (i have a redirection set up but it doesn't seem to work for parcels ) Just waiting to hear back from 1 more seller.

Hopefully it will all be okay :o

I'm sure you've thought of this, but make sure you change your ebay address as well- we had a nightmare last year when we moved, all sorts all over the place.
Luckily we were only moving down the road, and the posties soon figured out where we had gone. :)
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine

I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine. :p

Yep - figured that one out last night :o

Shame the old address is 160 miles from this one :(

2 small parcels have gone to my old address - hopefully they're small enough to be caught by the redirection. **Fingers crossed**

Didn't need to shout at paypal - both parcels arrived yesterday morning having been picked up by the redirection (I'd called Royal Mail to make sure they did everything they could)

    So all's well

We had problems for months. We deleted all details of our old address off ebay and paypal, yet after sending payment (with information of correct new address), paypal and ebay kept showing up the old one. Shouting didn't work. They kept telling me how to go and delete it... I ALREADY HAD.

    Ahem.
