Best USB Adaptor for BT Homehub

Hi,

I've had all sorts of problems with my wireless connection recently.

To cut a long story short, I've just signed up to BT having given up on Orange. I have a Belkin Wireless adaptor 7000 fitting into my PC which I can't get to work with a downloaded driver (i've given up having spent far too long trying to sort it).

So, if I'm looking to get a USB adaptor to go with the BT Homehub which one is my best bet please ?

I keep coming up with the Belkin F5D8053UK N but I'm not totally sold on it.

Worth noting that I'm thinking USB for two reasons.

1. I can't take the old adaptor out or put a new one in (not a talent of mine !)

2. where the pc is positioned I think the connection would benefit from being on top of the PC or table, rather than tucked in behind the PC as it is now.

Any suggestions appreciated, I'm willing to pay upto about £40.

You might find a solution to your problem on Belkin's web site; you wouldn't have to buy another adapter then.

That said, how does ~£15 sound?

believe me, i've tried so many things to sort this problem out. the belkin site doesn't go much further than "download this and it works", which it doesn't.

theres a seperate thread trying to resolve this. the driver downloads, but wizard doesn't recognise it as software for the belkin.
