Hi hope Alienrik is reading and can help me again. Avira suggested I upload this ARO. The free version deleted 20 redundant processes or something like that! but there's another 900 odd that need deleting and want me to pay for this. What should I do? Thanks

I wouldn't pay for any software that "optimises" registry to be honest.

If you are concerned about your registry, I would suggest downloading "RegClean" I believe its useful freeware up until a point.

I wouldn't be doing anything to the registry unless you 100% understand what you are doing, and how to undo anything that gets changed.

There was a time when you entered the registry with trepidation, for a very good reason too..

Personally I'd give the registry a once-over with RegSeeker (link) - anything that doesn't find, isn't worth finding.

Thanks for all the advice. I have no idea what I'm doing and wouldn't know how to undo anything so maybe I'll just leave it alone. Ta.
