do you guys remember me talking about Erin's interest in the norweigen navy dog, Bamse, a few weeks ago.. See my post here.......

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=20840329&highlight=bamse#post20840329

the following week we went to see his grave and Erin wrote him a note, and gave him some tulips out of the garden... it was quite sweet actually...

The stopy has really captured her imagination, which is good.... http://www.bamsemontrose.co.uk/index.php

anyway the story of this dog is on The One Show tonight, apparently..... so that's our planned viewing for tonight!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

    Afternoon everyone :hello:

I've started a blog :) so I can keep all chat about medical stuff out of here because it's not really the place for it. If nothing else it'll be good for keeping a track of what's happening, I need all the help I can get in that area. Anyway, it's here if anyone's interested. You have to start at the bottom of the menu on the right and work your way up, otherwise you read it backwards. I've changed the names a little :) So, that's all I'm going to say about that now.

So, donuts are in the house eh. i love krispy Kreme, actually I think I can blame at least 2 of the 3 extra stone I'm carrying on those flippin things.

Just been reading Toto - beautifully written.

    afternoon all....

    I am a bit

The job which was very similar to my old one - but with the bit I hated not included - and could have rare contact with Cruella closed last Thursday.

The interviews are on the 27th and I've not heard anything so presume I haven't got an interview.

I'm partly puzzled because the job and the environment is what I used to do. I fit every aspect of the person spec. I've re-checked my application and everything that is relevant is mentioned.

What also puzzles me is this. Part of the reason Cruella hated me is because I have a slight disability, which I don't normally mention when applying for jobs. most people never know unless I tell them. However, because I thought that there could be a tiny tenuous link one day that she found out that I didn't mention this on my application, I put 'YES' to the disability box.

This says that as long as I meet the minimum requirements of the job, I would be interviewed under the Guaranteed Interview Scheme, although I really should have got one without that!!

My personal details would have been anonymous - it's an online application, but it would be easy to pick up the phone and speak to Cruella as soon as they saw where I used to work.

    So.......why no interview  ?

It certainly is, quite overwhelming in places. I'll definitely be keeping up with it.

possibly, although I should have still been selected through the Two Ticks system.

I think they would struggle to find 5 or 6 candidates who have all worked in this field, doing the exact same job who they feel are better suited than me for an interview. Across Dorset, there was me, plus 1 person at a linked organisation doing 1 aspect and 1 person at another place doing the other aspect. I know it's 2 years since I left but I don't reckon there's been an influx of people doing what I did who all now strangely want to move on........
