I just bought a pair of size 10 jeans!!!!!
Now it may not seem like a big deal to some, but it must be 15 years or so since I bought ANYTHING in a 10!!!! I'm really chuffed.............:j

On a different note, DH has been offered voluntary redundancy, and wants to take it......cue 50% reduction in household income..

I won't be able to go to Leeds. I am teaching on the Saturday morning, which would have been ok if I got a train early afternoon and arrived Saturday evening around 7pm, but my cookery course is definitely going ahead and there is a session on the Monday evening. It means getting a train around 8am which would get me back for 2pm. Any delays and I'd be stuffed.

will you get someone to "buy" your hotel room BB?

well done on the trousers, :T

not so great about the redundancy... but at least it was his choice.... but i'm sure a man of his skills wouldn't be unemployed for long....

I am Maz - it cost me 2x £10 admin fees because I'd done it under 2 email addies but it was better than just not arriving. I only paid £15 per night because of 'manipulating' the offer so I'll only get a total of £10 back but my situation for June is so dire, that £10 is gratefully received!

I also hadn't booked the train because I was waiting to see if my cookery course would run. OH still owes me £65 but that wasn't enough for the train ticket so I would have had another £20 or more to find plus beer money and I probably haven't got enough to pay the bills next month let alone venture out of the house apart from to go to work!

Mmmmmmmmmm the yoghurt and berries look lush :D

They do something similar in EAT actually but the berries are always a bit squishy - I think they've been sitting there too long ;)
