Negotiating Agent Fees
Comments

Totally agree .. and that was exactly why we didn't choose the cheapest. We selected the one we thought would market our house most effectively, and then tried to make a small adjustment on their fees to match another agent who we felt would be just as effective. The 1% agent didn't seem to have the staff necessary to provide a good service. The 1.5% agent wouldn't move on fees and didn't seem to be able to explain why they were worth more, except that "they were".
Sorry, you weren't.0 -
Never go for the cheapest Estate Agency, what's 1% of nothing if they can't sell your home?
Also, an agent offering a 1% fee may have a high minimum fee.0 -
Dont forget you only pay a fee if you get the price you want and you can ask for any fee you want even a set fee of £x0
