How much does a breast augmentation cost?

Ive had two breast augmentations done now.....first pair of boobies were in for 4 years then I had then removed as they got banned (they were trilucent) then second set I have had now for about 8 years. They look great but I think thats because I had them done after having the children so there was plenty of room for filling out the breasts.
Some people are making the mistake of having them put in far too large and then they look ridiculous. There was one girl in hospital when I went who had implants and they looked awful and she hated them!! They looked like a couple of oranges pinned to her chest.
My first ones cost £3600 and the second lot were free!0 -
Thanks all to share your opinion with me. i have also get information by search on Google and related breast augmentations forum. I like salloumplasticsurgery.com for breast augmentations surgery because the surgeon double board certified by the American Boars of surgery and the American Board of plastic surgery.0

Another excellent board for help and support is breasthealthonline, if you want picture access you'll need to get a letter from a surgeon but its great for info both good and bad.

Do your research, see your GP and get a referral to a cosmetic surgery clinic and ask lots and lots of questions! As someone else has already mentioned, there are plenty of forums out there - sign up to a few and see which ones you get on with best, UK ones are more informative for you than US ones, imo.
I paid £4,500 for mine just under 5 years ago. I hated them at first, they look very unnatural when they're first done and they do take a while to settle. It was very painful when I first woke up, and I spent a week being very careful, not picking anything heavy up and being very protective of my chest. Sleeping is a little difficult and you need to wear a sports bra all the time for a couple of months. Now, I'm happy with them and they look (almost) natural, from 32A to 32E (but I have gained weight since too!).“I tell you, we are here on Earth to fart around, and don't let anybody tell you different.”

If it's simply for cosmetic purposes, please don't do it!
Seeing a woman with a pair of balloons stuck down her t-shirt is really unattractive.
And what about scars?0 -
You paid for FF cup sized breasts on a 28inch bust
? I'm really intrigued as to what your previous cup size was as it sounds like you went from normal to !!!!!! star sized. Sorry to hear that your husband pressurised you.
i got the implant's when i was significantly larger than i am now i was a 36inch back when i got them, and they took me to a D cup.. but since getting rid of the ex i've lost weight (2 stone) which took my back down to a 28in back ... and the smaller your back go's the larger the cup go's because obviously the boobs where the one part of me that didn't shrink with the rest of me. :rotfl:
I don't look like a !!!!!! star tbh "fake" boobs are just a totally different shape to real ones so they need a larger bra to go in, most people i tell about it are amazed i need a FF bra i look like about a DD which isn't hugely out of proportion... yes i have big boobs but i don't look totally stupid or out of whack alot of people don't even realise they are fake.
As for scar's my scar's are almost invisable they are right under the crease and about 1 inch long, you can only see them if you are looking for them, again most people who see the scar's are really impressed with how small and neat they are.
I get changed in the gym all the time so im naked with other women, just the other day one of the lady's asked "what exercise" did i do to get my boobs to look like this (i'm quite muscular for a woman anyway) i sort of laughed and said they where fake ... which of course started a changing room wide conversation about my boobs :rotfl::rotfl: over half the women said they would never have guessed they where fake, the other half suspected because of how slim i was but thought they looked great but where to embarressed to ask me about them.
I found it quite funny because im quite slim with very little fat on me and boobs "are fat" so the slimmer you are generally the more they shrink and i've never seen a sub 15% body fat woman with boobs naturally bigger than about a B or C cup so how on earth anyone would imagine mine are real is beyond me.
tbh i like the size i just don't like bra shopping i can play them up or down depending on my mood, obviously i play them down for work as i work in a proffessional office and they've never caused me issues because of thier size. This months aim :- Stick to food Budget / find £100 for my car insuranceMay GC :- £250/£234.55 :T:A:TJune GC :- £150/£127.37:eek:0 -

But I wouldn't have mine done
Ha! I'm not sure that is true about men. For a start all the sexiest women polls are full of as many fried egg women as melon women. Also a lot of men hate big boobs. I have found that a surprising number of men feel the need to tell me that! At best they make comments like "more than a handful is a waste" and "small boobs don't sag with age" and at worst I have been told that big boobs are "disgusting" and "look like udders"! BTW, these were not boyfriends saying these things, but work colleagues/friends boyfriends etc. Men are so lucky us women don't feel the need to pick apart their bodies like this.0 -
If you are busty then you wouldnt need it doing anyway, whether you like them or not. IMHO women who are blessed with boobs already never understand why women who had them and lost them through weightloss or having kids, or never had them in the first place, would want them. But we do, for many reasons.
xx
I did used to be an A cup actually (in my teens and early twenties I was a wee bit underweight & wasn't on the pill). Then I put some weight on and went on the pill and the !!!!!!s inflated big time! Mind you, not as bad as a friend of mine who went on the pill and went from an A to an E! I would honestly and truly love to go back to being an A cup. I didn't have sore strap marks where my bra was valiantly trying to hold the weight up and I didn't get heat rash in summer. It wasn't a nightmare trying to play sports. And if I wanted to look saucy I would just stick on a padded push-up bra and low-cut dress. But if I didn't want to have idiotic men gawping at me I could just hide them. I hate my boobs most at work. It's a nightmare trying to find suits that are cut to accommodate them and I feel that some male colleagues don't really take me seriously.
BTW, I do agree with your other point re: breast implants can look nice and natural. I think there are unfortunately a lot of women walking around with bad boob jobs and those ones tend to stay in your mind!0 -

A friend once said to me that it's the bad boob jobs you remeber because they LOOK like boob jobs, the good ones you don't remeber because you never realise the girls had one. This months aim :- Stick to food Budget / find £100 for my car insuranceMay GC :- £250/£234.55 :T:A:TJune GC :- £150/£127.37:eek:0 -
I am happy with the size of mine but they are uneven and would consider surgery to match them up a bit more.
However I've seen on TV that sometimes the nipple has to be moved and I would worry about lose of sensation:o:o:o:o. Does anyone know if this happens?
