Double glazing quotes - how do they look

Hi folks

I'm a first time poster so please bear with me. I'm looking to replace the original windows that have been in for almost 30 years with double glazed U-PVC units. I have had 10 local double glazing companies in the Falkirk area (Scotland) to quote for 6 windows and 2 doors. I have narrowed them down to 3 companies and am looking for any comments on price from the DG experts/fitters who read this forum.

The window sizes are height x width:

Window 1 - 1580mm x 1800mm (2 hoppers and reinforced fixed pane)
Window 2 - 1200mm x 1780mm (1 side opener and fixed pane)
Window 3 - 1200mm x 1200mm (bottom opener)
Window 4 - 1200mm x 1780mm (1 side opener and fixed pane)
Window 5 - 1200mm x 1200mm (bottom opener)
Window 6 - 1200mm x 580mm (side opener with obscured glass)
Back door - 2100mm x 900mm (top half clear glass, bottom fixed panel)
Front door - 2100mm x 900mm (Rennie MacIntosh design class)

The windows will be Rosewood on the outside and white on the inside, chrome handles and trickle vents. The interior cills and finish will be in hardwood. I currently have cheap external tin cills and they will be replaced with non-asbestos cills with any brickwork/harling being made new as required.

The 3 companies have priced as so:

Company 1 - Kommerling Connoisseur Gold Ovolo system with Triple Shield glazed units. £5200. Company offers insurance backed guarantee at an additional cost.

Company 2 - Profile 22 with Pilkington glazed units. £4700

Company 3 - Profile 22 with AC Yule glazed units, £4450

Any comments on price would be appreciated and if any more info. is required then please ask.

Thanks

James
