Hi there
In regards of Eloan.co.uk they did dissolve/liquidate last year or more, I have registered my claim with the Financial compensation scheme (FSCS) so they investigate, while they wait to go into default then the FSCS will investigate the case, mine is in regards of a PPI reclaim.
FSCS details here, contact them to register:

To the FSCS eloan are known as Twopart limited, as this is eloans company.
So if you have a claim, contact the FSCS, and request for them to send you a form, good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Thanks for that. I am claiming PPI from Paragon. Eloans arranged the loan so I might need to contact the FSCS. I have contacted Paragon so will have to wait for a response.0

Hi di3004
Well as expected Paragon passed the blame onto E-Loans so I will have to claim via the FSCS. Can you perhaps tell me which section you claimed under and how you worked out the amount to claim? Any other info will be appreciated.0 -

Hi Mey
Sorry to hear that.
What I done was ring the FSCS from the site on here:
http://www.fscs.org.uk/
Explain you have a claim within e-loan and are aware that the FSCS are dealing with them.
Ask them if they can send you a form through the post, they will then arrange to send this, and when you complete the form to give them details on your case, then also enclose any information or paperwork (photocopies) to enclose with the form.
In fact they are actually being investigated now by the FSCS, they will write back to confirm when eloan known as Twopart ltd are in default and are investigating your case.
I received an email last week from FSCS as I asked them what stage they were at, this was their response up to now here below, you could actually contact them on the number on my email below if you want to, this is more direct, let me know how you get onk, good luck;):

Dear
Thank you for your email of 6 April 2009 about your claim for compensation against Twopart Ltd.
The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) must consider all claims in line with our rules, as set by the Financial Services Authority (FSA). Under these rules, before we can consider the eligibility of an investor’s claim against a firm, we must first be satisfied that the firm in question is financially unable to meet the claims that have been brought against it. We can only consider a claim for compensation if no other party is in a position to do so.
We are currently investigating the solvency position of Twopart Ltd to decide whether we can declare the firm to be ‘in default’ under our rules (i.e. we are satisfied that it is unable, or likely to be unable, to meet the claims against it). This opens the way for us to pay compensation to those investors who have eligible claims against the firm.
Once our investigation into the solvency position of the firm is complete, and if we are able to declare Twopart Ltd‘in default’, we will then go on to consider the specific facts of your claim to decide whether we can compensate you under our rules.
It is difficult to give an exact timescale as to when we will be in a position to write to you about your claim. Reviews into the solvency of firms are, by their very nature, time consuming, as we are dependent on receiving information from third parties, over whom we have no jurisdiction. As soon as these investigations are finalised we will contact you again.
Should you have any questions in the meantime, please telephone our helpline on 020 7892 7300.
Yours sincerely
Customer Services Team
