BK tomorrow

Well, tomorrow should be the day I go bankrupt. I have to be at Bournemouth court at 8.15am, hopefully everything should go ok.
I have a lot of "What if's?" racing round my head at the moment, but my forms are filled out (correctly I hope) and I have my passport & cash so there is not much more I can do I suppose. . .

Hi SammyB....good luck tomorrow in Bournmouth.
Get it done & then take a nice long walk along the beach & look out for the light at the end of the tunnel. Your new debt free life is out there.
Take care, Angiexx0 -

Hi all, thank you for your lovely good luck messages.
I got to the court early, waited, had my forms checked, waited, paid my fees and was told that I could go get a cuppa. So did a bit more waiting with a cup of tea and at twenty past ten was informed I was bankrupt. No need to see the judge!
I can not even begin to describe the relief I felt when he said that to me. Apparently the OR will ring me 'In the next few days', so I will just see what happens then. . .
One worry though, I received a call from HSBC today chasing money. I informed them I was now BK but they didn't seem to get the message. They didn't sound all that interested and the lady just continued saying that she needed to tell me what they were going to do about my debt with them. Then she made a point of telling me that the call was recorded - At that point I said 'Good' and gave her my BK number, told her that the OR would be in contact and should they need to contact me again would they please do it in writing.
She didn't sound at all happy with me. Have I done the wrong thing? Shouldn't they have asked me for the number and not just carried on with the call? I'm a bit confused about that.0 -
Congratulations SammyB
Once you get your interview over and done with you can then start to relax and look forward to a debt free future. Hope all goes well
