Llandudno (shopping) and Conwy (castle) are only a few miles up the road, or explore Snowdonia if the weathers pleasant. I can't think of anything in the immediate area, We've been to Prestatyn Sands quite a few times but we always travel about.
You could search for 'Holiday On The Buses' references!Out on blue six..

Going to that area ourselves in August, staying at Talacre beach a few miles away so have done a bit of research on whats in the area.
Greenwood forest park is in the snowdonia area, and you can use tesco clubcard points for that. In Rhyl just down the road from prestatyn there is a sea life centre, and the rhyl suncentre a tropical water park with loads of attaractions and the rhyl sky tower a 240ft revolving tower.
there's also a good website rhyl-prestatyn.co.uk
where you can request a brochure for the area.
As stated Chester is pretty close as well, where there is lots to see and do in the city and it has a zoo too.0 -
