can i load office xp onto my vista laptop?

just found a copy of Office XP on a disc with the product code on the back, can i load it onto my Vista laptop?

If it came with another PC then no, but if you purchased it seperately yes0

There is no technical reason why it wont run, but as Fonz states above, if the copy you found states "OEM software" on the product key sticker then no, it's only licensed for the PC it came on originally.0

The Office EULAs (oem or otherwise) usually allow you to install 2 different copies one on a primary computer and one on a mobile device (ie laptop).
presumably if its a legal copy, you should have no problems installing it.0
