Hmmm, think I got up on the wrong side of life this morning - although of course I am absolutely right in all respects!
Curious really, as I did actually come on the thread to answer the OP - so here goes.
I had a similar experience with a bank last week, taking in all me docs for 'money laundering checks'. Have they looked at my accounts recently?! Anyway, it turned out that because the address in their system had the word 'Flat' in it, that - despite my address being quite precise and strung over six lines - the various docs I took in were invalid. One had 'Flat **' on it, one didn't, and my car reg doc - my useful third doc - was ruled out because it didn't have the magic words 'Mr' before my full name. Payslips, passport, bits of string and some other ephemera from my laptop bag were not enough to skirt the rule.
I realise there are reasons why they have to check ID etc, but really - what happened to 'judgement'?
I'm sure Tootsie Roll doesn't have this problem

Because Tootsie Roll is a Debt Collector he was chucked off a couple of other debt forums already although he has behaved himself of this board so far. There is no point in arguing with him he has no interest in any hardships or problems anyone on this board has- Harrassed will back me up on this by the way. I think Tootsie is quite open about being a Debt Collector if asked. You just need to know to ask!!!!0 -
Well if they are a debt collector then they have a hard life as no-one likes them.
