Our two surviving World War One Veterans, Harry Patch and Henry Allingham have rightly received honours from France and Belgium but nothing from their own country.
As a matter of urgency we need to convince the Prime Minister that they deserve special recognition for their contribution to our freedom as this is a matter of national pride. To this end I have started a petition which you can sign on the government website. Look for WW1VeteransGift (one word).
Please join us and make this happen.:T
