Discount calls to Cyprus problem

I don't know if anyone else has encountered this problem. We've used DiscountDial for about 3 1/2 years now to phone Cyprus regularly. Recently the call keeps returning to the welcome message after a few minutes. We've tried another one of the discount websites access numbers and this did exactly the same. We have a BT phone line and our calls our charged by Talk Talk. I was wondering if anyone else has encountered any of the above problems, and maybe any advise someone can give.

18185 also charges 1p/minute to call landlines in Cyprus (and, unlike all the 0844-type gateway providers, there's no cost if a call is unanswered or if the target number is engaged).Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0

I've tried a couple of these numbers for 1p a minute but after a few minutes you suddenly get the welcome message like 'Welcome to Discount Dial, please dial the number you require followed by the #'. Its very annoying as it only started this week. Has anyone else encountered this recently, particularly if they are billed by TalkTalk. I am not saying its them just checking.0
