I contacted Qype as I said, asking them if I would be receiving Amazon vouchers for completing over 40 reviews between 27 May and 2 June, and this is the reply I received:
"You mean the Amazon competition last year I take it? I had a look at your
account and you didn't enter the competition. You should have recieved an
email congratulating you on entering and explaining the competition gudelines,
so perhaps you didn't complete the registration."
I followed the link from the OPs post and registered with Qype at the same time and then completed 43 reviews over a few days!
Am I going mad or was that link really from last year?!!! :mad:I don't drink, don't smoke, don't go out - why aren't I rich?
Don't worry, I'm working on it!0 -

I think you mean iWOOTs voucher, not amazon. You have to note that even if you do enter the competition, you're not guaranteed to get anything, as they usually state the number of people they're giving it too, ie. for the iWOOTs voucher, they stated they'd be giving it out to the first 350 i think people that entered. So in order to receive anything you'd need to be part of that first 350 and they always send you an email congratulating you on completing the task. If they haven't, I'm afraid that means you haven't won.0 -

Ah! Now it all makes sense! Now that I read the OP again, it doesn't mention Amazon vouchers at all. Obviously, what's happened is I've read about the Amazon vouchers somewhere, then shortly after read the link here but of course it's not for the vouchers and my brain has played tricks and led me to believe it was for the Amazon vouchers!
Oh well, I can always use the reviews I posted on qype somewhere else!
Thanks for your helpI don't drink, don't smoke, don't go out - why aren't I rich?

What's bView?
All reviews are my own reviews and I don't see anything written that any reviews you write are not to be published elsewhere. If we were being paid big money for the reviews and if they laid down clearly that reviews must not have been published elsewhere, then fine. As it is, they are not paying for our reviews just holding out the carrot that you might be picked to receive vouchers.
As it is, I have reviews on Ciao, Dooyoo and elsewhere and occasionally they will be identical reviews, but I always use the same name and profile picture just so it can be seen the reviews are my own and not copied from someone else.

Bview is a review site that doesn't want people posting a review they have written on several other sites. They want their reviews to be individual, but as you haven't heard of them it doesn't matter. Bview just say that it dilutes the review to have it all over the net so prefer their writers to at least re-word it. Helphound have also mentioned this in their blurb, but I am guessing you don't write for them either so it isn't a problem!0
