Its quite difficult, but effective:
First Method- Lauch Windows Task Manager.
- End wgatray.exe process in Task Manager.
- Restart Windows XP in Safe Mode.
- Delete WgaTray.exe from c:\Windows\System32.
- Delete WgaTray.exe from c:\Windows\System32\dllcache.
- Lauch RegEdit.
- Browse to the following location:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\
Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify - Delete the folder ‘WgaLogon’ and all its contents
- Reboot Windows XP.

*Grumbles* Well knowing Currys, they aren't likely to fix it for you. Have you tried validating it again on the Microsoft website?

Was there not somebody on a few weeks ago with the same problem? Maybe it's a security flaw?Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0 -
Attempt to reactivate it, if it fails ring Microsoft on the details it gives you and explain the situation. They'll sort it out.0

Yep, did it on our main computer about 2 years ago which we bought from *grumble grumble* PC World who we can only assume didn't bother installing original copy or something?! Anyway, worked a charm. The quickest way to become a millionaire is start off as a billionaire and go into the airline business.
