Morgan Stanley DOUBLE Cash Back

have just called to cancel my morgan stanley card as i'm being a very good girl and paying off my cr card debts!

anyway, when i said i wanted to cancel, they put me through to another section where i was offered double cash back to stay with them. they offered me 2% for 3 months

i said no, as am trying to get rid of cards and have just sorted an egg casback card now and can't be bothered with 2, however, this is a pretty good offer, and although it was short term, i think you could push this further eg: try for 6 months at 2%

Interesting that they didnt offer a 0% deal. Oh well. I'm with you - dont really need another cashback card so am waiting till I have received my anniversary cheque in July before cancelling. Though I've had my card with them for 5 years so might keep it with a halved credit limit to make it appear on my credit record that I'm not tarting.
