Is this quote for our decking good?

I think so BUT he is only the 3rd person we have had round and the best reccomended and cheapest so far..

Decking area: 3.6m x 5m

Materials: 491.00
Labour: 390.00

Legs of platforms 100 x 100
Deck boards 130 x 32
Timbers 47 x 150

Heavy duty grade

£881.00...BUT there is no VAT (it doesn't say)..do we have to add that on or is it done with it?

    If it doesn't say about the vat, it could be he doesnt charge it, he/company may not be over the vat threshold (£67k per yr i think)

    that sounds pretty good to me as that is a fair sized deck. I have just done this as a DIY project and the materials look to be right on the money, I have spent more on extras, like ballastrades, rails, etc etc, fixings alone have cost me around £30. So, I think labour of £390 is fair really.
