Have to keep retuning all my TV/Freeview Kit!!

Over the last few days I find I have had to retune 2 Freeview boxes, 2 TV's and my DVD hard drive recorder. Different channels seem to disappear. All back now but a pain. Is this just me or perhaps my local aerial or what I wonder?

Any clues?

    Which area are you?
Are you getting near to switch over?
We are now fully digital, and besides the publicised 2 stage changeover, there were several times in the run-up when a channel would move.
e.g Film 4 moved from 30 to the teens.
    Move along, nothing to see.

Just spoke to a neighbour and he's had the same problems and he tells me about the 2 stage thing so he assures me nothing to worry about. But Gawd help those who can't easily retune their kit?

You don't say where you are, but around here it's been saturation coverage on local tv and papers.
Also, billboards and large notices hanging off lamposts since before Christmas, so no real excuse, and still people have/are leaving it until the last minute according to a guy in the local tv shop.

There has been a lot of channels which have changed the LCN [chan number] in the last couple of weeks and channels added -- should be OK now as most have been completed --- Did my boxes this morning -- Dave

    Ditto.
The channel change has meant re-turning frequently - yesterday I retuned several times within 5 minutes, it was just picking up 40 tv channels, not 59 (ok majority are closed, adverts but it was missing the Virgin 1 channel).

The plus side now is Virgin 1 is on all day so loadsa star trek (boring though seen every episode every series apart from the Enterprise series which I dont like). The negative side is the rest of the channels are 70% garbage.
