Where can I sell if not Ebay?

Hi All
I have started making ornaments at home, where can I list them for sale if I don;t use Ebay? I have an Amazon account for buying and am going to check out selling there, but are there any other really good auction sites or places to advertise.
Thanks

What QXL, I haven't heard of that before???0

Amazon is a good one, Also QXL and what about Gumtree?
Amazon don't do auctions any more and home made ornaments are not likely to be in their catalogue. QXL have gone and Gumtree is more useful for large one off collected items than small trinkets .
OP you could try ebid, but there are very few buyers compared to ebay. It depends if you are serious about selling or not or would be happy to just have your item sit there free of charge (although you do have to pay £49.99 for full ebid membership) until they sell.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. If you're specifically making them to sell, you should register yourself as a business.
As to where to sell them, ebay's a good choice, but try at car boot sales as well.Back on MSE after a 5 year hiatus.

I sell hand made ornaments on ebay that I make myself, not with huge success but fair results. You have to optimize everything you do because people often expect to pay asda tat prices for your hard work and it can be disheartening when people turn around and say I'll give you 50p for something that is worth much more. Don't let them get to you :-)0

That's exactly why I gave up selling stuff on ebay, really used to wind me up I couldn't sell my stuff, yet stuff which looked like a 3 year could do better was selling for 2/3 times as much!!!
Is there anywhere local that does craft fairs? (One of our markets has craft stalls at end of every month) Or a small local run buisness that would be willing to sell a few (although you would probably have to give thema % of sales)0 -
Etsy is more US centric, you can try folksy.com. It's a UK based site and if your stuff is arts and crafty it will definately fit.0

Any reason you don't want to use eBay - you will struggle to find somewhere else that reaches the same number of people.
You may need to put some work into a good quality listing and be prepared to try different styles until you find one that hits your buyers.
Be realistic with your expectations too - you may think your creations are wonderful (and I'm sure they are), but that does not mean everyone will value them the same way. They will not be an established premium brand, so "Asda price" may be the best you can hope for.0
