2nd Letter from PPC- Help!!

Hi
This is my first post so hope I do it right :-)
My husband received a 'parking ticket' from Private Car Parking Enforcement Agency at the end of March. After reading many posts on her I took the advice and ignored in.
They sentme a letter presumably getting my details from the DVLA, to which I replied that I was not driving the car at the time stated and had no obligation to provide them with any further information.
Today I have received a second letter from them informing me that as the registered owner of the vehicle I am liable, not the driver - which contradicts the info on this thread!! And again it threatens further action etc.
I am right in thinking this letter is just scaremongering and I should just reply again saying it wasnt me and not to contact me again? Also how can they 'prosecute' me for something I havent done - it was my husband :-P
In the letter they mention an audit trail of evidence, surely this wouldnt be enough in court - if it got that far? Wouldnt they need CCTV or Photographic evidence, should I ask if they have this?
Sorry for all the questions, just trying to get as much info as possible :-)
Thanks
Rachel

Ignore it totally. The chance of this going to court is miniscule.
File the letters just in case - The threats will eventually cross the line into outright illegality and will make it doubly unenforcable.

The big mistake you have made here is writing to them, all it does is give them confidence that you can be bullied into paying!
A PPC's (supposed) contract is with the driver, not the RK. Council tickets are different.
Ignore this letter & it's empty threats plus all the rest that follow, don't contact them.Always try to be at least half the person your dog thinks you are!0 -
For the record.
Council tickets apply to the owner not the Registered Keeper0 -
Its not a council one, its def a private company. So as I understand it they have no right to info off me??
I wrote them a letter after the first as thats the info from a thread on here. I advised that I was not the driver and had no obligation to provide further info so please do not contact me again.
The thread on here says reply to any letters stating this, but your advise says to just ignore it. Just getting concerned as we cannot afford to pay, let a lone higher fees etc.
Thanks again.

you weren't driving so what can you be liable for ? nothing. your money is safe. just ignore them from now on, you have done enough. life is too short to let con artists bother you.0
