in IVA & DRO
I'm in an IVA and currently pay finance for a car but its not big enough as i jave just had another baby. So I found one to swap it for which costs the same as my existing finance, but the garage tried to set up new finance for the new car and it was rejected. So i tried my bank who also said no. The people incharge of my IVA said as long as the monthly payments were the same as before its fine to exchange cars, but where can i get the finance with an IVA in tow??

I'm no expert on this but i don't think you can get finance whilst on an IVA and I don't think you are allowed to anyway, but I could be wrong.Debt 30k in 2008.:eek::o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free

:jHave you tried your existing finance company?? They know your situation and your payments?? I refinanced my balloon payment on my car whilst in IVA and it went quite smoothly, with existing lender.0

Hi thanks for replying. I did try my existing finance company but they told me they only set up finance through dealerships so i would have to make a new application through them, which i would think will probably fail, and i dont want to do too many applications.
I was told by the IVA people I could get new finance as long as it wasnt for more than my existing finance which will be settled once i get this new one.
