Lloyds Tsb bank charges finanical hardship

I ve just recieved another letter of lovely lloyds tsb  telling me in so many words to go away and wait for the test case. I tryed to prove that we came under finanicial hardship and sent all my documents off to lloyds but i have no joy. I sent arrears letters for mortage, credit cards, magistrates court for council tax and explained that at the end of each month we had no money to buy food after the charges were taken out. Lloyds say that we are currently experiencing finanical difficulties and will pass us onto collections ,in other words go away.I do not know what route to take now with my claim ,any suggestions ?
I have been with lloyds for 24 years but the last 18 months they have charged us more than I have paid over the past 24 years.
How far will the banks go , they have been bailed out by the tax payer because of their greed and large bonus to the board.I think it is about time they payed us back and helped people not push us into further debt and misery especially now. i have now left Lloyds and we are paying the overdraft off slowly. If you are in our situation that your bank takes your money out before you can withdraw any please leave and go to another bank otherwise they will just push you into further debt.we would have been facing bankruptcy now if I had not moved.
Very good website .thanks Martin.

IMO you could be living in an 18th century poor house and your bank would still say that you are not in hardship. I am in the situation of having to walk 4 miles to work at 0430 because I can't afford a taxi, buses don't start untill 0630 my shifts sometimes start at 0600, other days I can't afford a return bus ticket so I have to walk home. I also miss meals as I cannot afford to feed myself.
On a positive note it is quite effective as weight loss programme:rotfl:By the time my case is resolved I'll look like I live in the poor house.0 -

i have recieved the exact same reply from lloyds, even had a lovely letter from collections outline just how much the arrears were on the loan i can no longer afford to pay. I have today filled in my ombudsman complaint form. from this forum it seems that LLoyds are extremely tricky, but their attitude has made me be determinded to go the whole distance. When i was recieving sick pay the monthly charges on my account were £165....hoping the ombudsman helps0
