    kjm't,
Last I heard Santander hadn't taken over A&L, keep an eye on the news though, you don't know who's knobbing who these days.

ICICI is Indian, check if they are covered by UK 50K net.

Been through my BS list in favourites, found these for you to look at.

Been a while since I did a good trawl of interest rates, there really is a lot of crap out there.

    All the best.

A&L is part of Santander, alongside Abbey and Bradford & Bingley.

    rb10,
Amazing thing is we collected windfalls from all three of these ex BS.

Sold the last windfalls we owned in August 2007, B&B, got 4.18750 per share, talk about fortunate timing. Can't find the other advice notices so can't say what we got, usually traded up to the newest demutualised by selling the best performers to date. Odd situation, never supported demutualisation but did OK from it.

Must pay more attention to Comrade Peston or they will cancel my TV Licence.

It'll be sourced through the IFA salesforce arm, so it won't appear on the standard website.
