The company would be foolish not to submit the P35/14s as it would reduce the liabilty on the fines. These forms can be submitted even if the total amount of Tax & NICs has not been paid.
As long as all the end of year forms show the correct deductions then there is no issue with the employee if amounts are not paid after salary deductions. However this is where keeping paperwork for the next 7 years is important as if holes develop in the NIC records they will need to be proved by the employee.These are my thoughts and no one else's, so like any public forum advice - check it out before entering into contracts or spending your hard earned cash!
I don't know everything, however I do try to point people in the right direction but at the end of the day you can only ever help yourself!0
