    I dont personally think Web OSs / Cloud computing is viable for HOME users, its obviously reliant on an internet connection and there is a worry about personal data security.

    Primarily i would use it for storing my uni assignments and accessing them from where ever, i am.

    I was looking at this one and will take a proper look when i take longer break from studying tonight.

    Cloud computing is IMO a business application the advantages are very good, provided you have a good intranet and back everything up a lot.

    You can try Windows 7 RC for one year (up to June 2010), you can than decide if you like it or not and buy it or get a Linux distribution.

    I haven't seen that URL (will have a look later), but Dropbox is great for ensuring that you can access documents from anywhere.

    You can install the client on Windows, Mac OS and Linux, and use it to synchronise a folder on your PC (up to 2GB for free). There's also a web interface, so you can log in, and upload/download files. Also, they seem to keep backup copies of files that have been inadvertently overwritten, which is pretty handy.

    Yes bought Office 2007 through ultimatesteal last year
