Alfa Coach Holidays

We have never done a coach holiday before but I have seen a trip I fancy with Alfa which takes in the whole of Scotland in just seven days. The problem is that 4 nights of the holiday are spent at The Caledonian Hotel in Ullapool. I have looked on Tripadviser and the reviews for that hotel are dire.

Has anyone been on a coach trip with Alfa and more particularly to this hotel who can give me any advice? I am not expecting luxury accommodation but some of the reviews say the place is dirty and that is absolutely unacceptable!

They have their own hotels all over Scotland.
We went to Melrose with them in February and their
hotels, food, service, drivers were second to none.
