Amazon - Preorders

Amazon have had an item on preroder for a while now, item release date is sep this year.
I preordered multiple copies of this item due to a large group of us wanting to play the game. The price has fluctuated from £29.99, £24.99, £17.99, £54.99 in the past month or so.
Amazon have just cancelled all of their preorders stating an incorrect price.
I preordered approx 6/8 weeks ago at a price of £29.99 in total had 18 copies ordered for myself and friends, some abroad wont be able to get this specific release in their country. Most other Sites have had preorders at £39.99 and £44.99 so the £29.99 didnt seem like a wrong price
This also coincided with a leak of info from another source stating what was included in this pack we had ordered.
My Question is that is there anything that can be done?
It's obviously not a misprice as theyve been fluctuating the price for so long now, Im thinking they've just seen the potential from preorders and decided to up the price tbh.
Im just wondering if theres anything that can be done as they have both consumer rights and their own "preorder guarantee" to abide by, which tbh seems like no guarantee whatsoever if they can just decide oh no lots of preorders cancel item and relist with a hiked price. Or do I have no right to question them in this situation?
Any advice would be appreciated

I doubt you have any rights you made an offer to pay £29.99 they have rejected that offer.0

Well just checked amazon site again.
They always had the RRP listed as £54.99 thru the past few months.
Their prie is now £49.99, so much for preorder price guarantee, they just lost themselves about 30 orders lol0 -
Nothing you can do. They do not have to honour that price. You can check their T&C's but pretty sure their terms and contitions will say they do not enter into a contract until the goods are dispatched.
If it isn't due to be released until September, they probably have no idea what the final RRP (and hence cost to them) will be. They probably shouldn't be taking pre-orders this far in advance, but no doubt every other retailler in the country is doing the same thing safe in the knowledge they can cancel them should the price be higher than expected.0
