If you read the first review, apparently you don't HAVE to use a filter, so I may just dig out my old water filter and use that with cheapo filters in future

Could anyone enlighten me how long it takes between each cup of water dispensed to haeat up again?
I have vases of tea first thing in the morning

The water heats up as it's being dispensed, rather like an electric shower does. It takes about 20 seconds to fill a mug up (at a guess as haven't timed it).
