Nice original site - looks like an exact copy of ebuyer

I dont understand why people dont take the time to make their site more individual.0 -

i built a pc 5 years ago, used components from overclockers, eg overclocked cpu + motherboard bundle, and had no problems. since then, i used to use dabs, now buy more often from ebuyer (despite few delivery probs). i agree that even 5 years ago, overclockers had interesting website and forums.0

Some customers are happy with them which is great, but many others aren't. As someone said do a search on google/newsgroups and also resellerratings.com, you'll find quite a few unhappy overclockers customers. Mainly to do with returns and customer service. Even an ex-employee started a site about it. They removed email and phone contact for a while, never answer the phone, offload returns/support to manufacturers and also quick to ban on their forum if a customer highlights a problem rather than resolve it. FYI, I had problems with them. While back with returns, no-one wanted to know, lady was rude on the phone. More recently needed to cancel an order, couldn't get through on the phone or email for days.jakemuk wrote:All these people saying overclockers is bad, Lets here your PERSONAL EXPERIENCES, of bad service with them , I have a feeling its oh my mate had problem with them, Havent seen anyone post exactly whats wrong with overclockers, very good in my eyes
But this thread is about overclock.co.uk's clearance sale. Who are a different retailer to overclockers.0 -

That's Overclockers, not Overclock. Overclock customer service is excellent. They turned around a faulty motherboard I bought within 3 days (day 1 sent back, day 3 replacement received).
Cheers,

take a look at http://forums.overcockers.com/ if you want to see what bad stuff goes on at overclockers.
Plus from personal experience I have had used goods from them that they passed off as new.
They are also in PCZone this month for bad service aparently (not their first appearance there either)
Are you the jakemuk that is banned on overclocker's forums?0 -
