Item has not arrived - how long do I have to wait?

I bought and paid for a buy it now item on 8th May. It hasn't arrived and I got a request for feedback the other day so I sent a quick query to the seller saying that I wouldn't be leaving feedback until I had actually received the item.
The (UK) seller responded saying that the item was posted on 11th May and that it should arrive soon, but that I should wait 15 working days.
I was hoping the item would arrive within a few days and its very frustrating that I've had to wait almost 2 weeks already, without having to go another week and a half before they'll send out a replacement.
Can I reasonably request a replacement now?

If it wouldn't fit through your letter box then check asap with your sorting office to see if they are holding it. They sometimes don't leave cards as they are meant to.0

You can put an item not recieved after 7 days. If the seller does not offer a refund or replacement item open a paypal dispute0

I checked with the postman already - he usually leaves parcels tucked under a planter in the front if I'm not in, but I've been home for the past month or so.
Thanks for the advice, I'll contact the seller again and see what happens.“I tell you, we are here on Earth to fart around, and don't let anybody tell you different.”
