I have clicked on finish but is'nt doing anything it just stay on that page playing that silly music.
Anyone know hoe i can get to do another full reboot from that page.
Thanks
Mark

Your post is pretty confusing... A bit more clarity would make it easier to answer.
Are you talking about a PC? Rebooting it just means turning it on and off again - is this what you mean? Or do you mean a reinstallation of a particular program? What setup are you going through?
I have no idea what you mean by a 'thank you' screen or what music you're talking about - if you can be a bit more specific about what you're trying to do, what you're seeing and what you're hearing then it would be much easier to help.0 -

Ah, okay - now I understand.
Unfortunately I've got no experience of XP Media Edition so I don't think I can help with this one.0 -

Did you reinstall from the source files on the Hard Disk?0 -
can I ask why you did the re-install ??
can you access safe mode on a reboot ??
can you get to the ghost re-install drive if it has one by hitting f11 on boot up ??Ex forum ambassador

no i cannot access safe mode.
I will try the f11 in a mo.
I can do a reinstall as it is built in to the pc.
Anymore advise please

You should have a disk that contains a system restore, it wont be branded up as microsoft windows but it will either contain the windows install files and all the other stuff required to restore your pc to factory settings or contain an image of your pc as it was in the factory which it will restore using some software also on the disk.
Put the disk in the pc and it should boot and start the install after confiming that you are sure you want to do it as you will loose anything on there.
Before you do any of that you should try to start windows in safe mode by pressing the f8 key once every second when you switch your pc on till you get the windows startup menu then select safe mode (option 3 I think) if you can boot in safe mode you will be able to uninstall media centre and try again in normal mode0 -
