Cahoot

I currently bank with SMILE and am quite happy with them but they have recently dropped their interest rates and as I turn 21 in May I was thinking of switching to Cahoot I just wondering what peoples experiences them especially the application stage and thier customer services

    Hi,

I have had a cahoot current account and savings account for probably five years, and not had any real problems. The only annoying things have been that the cheque books only have 15 cheques in which was a pain (but I don't use these so much any more). Also, on one occasion I posted a cheque off to cahoot to be paid into the account and it has gone missing in the post, then another time I paid one in a the Post Office and that went missing too. Probably more a problem with the Post Office/Royal Mail than cahoot though.

Like Jo_anne I'm happy with cahoot too. Have looked at others, but there are usually disadvantages. Some demand £1000 paid in every month but I can't do that as I'm on pension income, most of it arrives 4-weekly

Cahoot are very easy to deal with online. Like Jo_anne I rarely use cheques nowadays, but when I do, I've had no problems.
