Virgin to Halifax One

in Credit cards
I have a Halifax One card on the 0% interest for 9 months. Can't use it to do super balance to my current account. Need to be able to for private car purchase. Can I apply for a Virgin card, do a super balance transfer to my halifax current account then transfer the balance on the Virgin credit card to the Halifax one? or will they not let me do that because both cards are in the 0% on purchases introductory phase?

Why not just keep the balance on Virgin which has a 16 month 0% offer? No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.
