Hi, i received a letter today both from Halifax and the FOS.

Halifax advised that the bank charges complaints have gone on hold and will not respond further.

FOS advised that they can not deal with the complaint as they do not deal with firms that are not regulated by the FSA??? I thought halifax are???

    Please help???

Information Commissioners Office would deal with data, the FOS wouldn't deal with the credit reference agencies with regards to incorrect data on your account which is what the complaint is really about.

    Good News!!

I've just checked my Equifax credit report and the default has just disapeared!! its says the file was updated today and the default has gone!! the only other thing that has appeared is data recorded called AP (arrangment to Pay) I am going to question this as there was no arrangement to pay. This is good news however, i need the data removed from Experian as well. Think i will email then and tell them what equifax has done. Woop Woop

LMAO, I have just read your thread on Consumer forums(yourbank is my username over there).
I am assuming Arrangement to pay might be OFT test case resolved because you may well be repaying the charges when or if the case goes to the OFT.
