Derbyshire Wayfarer ticket

i want to travel from Sheffield to Birmigham. Can anyone tell me if I buy a Derbyshire Wayfarer ticket can i legally stay on the train and then use the ticket that i hav bought from Derby to Birmingham?

    Wrong forum, but to answer your question they only allow travel within Derbyshire so no.
  • The wayfarer does allow travel to and from some towns outside the county, including Sheffield.
    I see no reason why it can't be used for a journey from Sheffield to Birmingham, provided a valid ticket is bought between Derby and Birmingham.
