As far as I am aware, and I could be wrong, they have to deal with hardship cases straight away as under the FSA regulations x

Send the second letter regarding hardship remember to post recorded! They will sendout expenditure form, as long as you are in hardship they should deal with you although I come under the hardship guidelines and they are doing jack! I just wish they would stop delaying the inevitable. It seems there is two versions of hardship, the one on MSE and the banks version. Not many people seem to come under the banks one for some strange reason. At which point ask them if they are refusing to help and then proceed to the ombudsman service.

Also Baliffs can't do much unless you let them in! Or someone else invites them in OR you leave a door/window open!

am sharing house with 2 other people so cant really stop the bailifs! can i call hsbc and do income and expenditure over the phone?and is it worth me saying to them that if they repay my charges will repay what i owe or is that too much

I did it over the phone just to have a letter saying that I had not contacted them! I don't know which is better but may be best to do it by post, recorded. Would advise your housemates they should not be letting anyone in as they will have stuff taken for your debt too! The baliffs don't care!

Bailiffs....are you sure? Unless you already have a judgement against you, they are more likely Debt Collectors, who have no right of entry whatsoever

If you have online banking, can be set up, you should just go through your statements yourself highlight any charges and doing it this way. It's how I did it!
