According to this news story Sony will start selling the PSP for £149.99 from next Wednesday (or £138 if you buy in euros). Throw in a good discount code and we could be in for a real bargain.

I have just seen the PSP Base pack at HMV for £149.99 and there are vouchers floating around for £20 off + if you use quidco even more savings to be had!

Yes, but lacking

The 32mb Memory Card (£3 - £5 tops on eBay)
Headphones / Remote Control (Cheap junk IMO, you can hardly hear anything with them in the first place!)
Carry case (Mine is still in the factory sealing, I bought a Logitech hard case for around a tenner)

So get some discounts and the new pack is much more of a bargain

All it needs now is several good games rather than reduced versions of PS2 originals.

Apart from GTA LCS, can't think of a killer title that's isn't on a console already, and LCS is coming to PS2!
