Inverting colours

Hi
Does anyone know of software that can invert screen colours, so for instance changing black writing on white background to white on black? Its for a partially sighted person in our office and some new software we are getting has no option to change colours. The accessability tools that come with windows do not work on this.
Thanks for your time

We had simular problems with someone who needed to have blue backgrounds. Honestly I cant remember if we bought software for dyslexia or if we stuck with a modified windows theme.0

I'm pretty sure if you go to the accessibility options, turn on high contrast, and then go to the settings, you should be able to set it up so it inverts the colours.0

I'm surprised you didn't spend a further 5 minutes trying it on behalf of the OP?

Installing Windows on my Mac would take longer than 5 minutes.
Assuming you use Windows, instead of biitching at me, you might have spent your time more productively by trying it on behalf of the OP yourself.0 -

Thanks for all the help.
Unfortunately, changing the accesability options won't work in this case. All the other software on the computer is set to high contrast already. It just seems to not affect the new software at all so we need something else.
Any other suggestions would be gratefully recieved?0 -
"some new software we are getting has no option to change colours"
If this 'new' software isn't following Windows' system settings (all too common these days with "skinned" software, and blummin' irritating) your best bet is probably to go back to the suppliers of the new software and ask them to sort it out. Might be worth seeing if there's a "disable skin" or "use system colourscheme" option somewhere I guess.0 -

This is a Windows setting, so should affect any software running in Windows. e.g.
Accessibility, Display, Check Use High Contrast
Settings - High Contrast Black
Is your program not a Windows application? Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
I would have done, if I'd had more than three minutes before having to leave the house to catch the bus to work!Installing Windows on my Mac would take longer than 5 minutes.

(And I wasn't bi'tching, it was a subtle dig at your Windows-free Mac-fulness...!)0
