Claim twice in one year.

Hi,
I wonder if someone could give me some advice on whether to make an insurance claim or not. I'm in my first year of driving and had an accident early on in the policy for which i had to claim. It was all sorted very quickly although it went down as a fault claim. I knew my premium would go up but that's the way it goes.
Unfortunately, now, 10 months later, I've had another accident which is going to cost in the region of £1100 to repair. There was no other vehicle involved. My excess is £600, so obviously I'm going to have to pay that one way or the other, but is it worth paying that extra £500 myself to avoid a massive increase for the next few years? I have no idea how much these accidents will affect my premium next year, so it's a little hard to judge.
Can anyone give a rough guide as to how much I can expect to pay on the next policy if I claim twice, or even what it might cost as things stand, with the one claim. I'm currently paying £1,000 year.
Thanks

Do some on line virtual quotes with and without this latest incident and see how the premiums look, then base your decision on that. (Also you will know if having 2 claims makes you unwanted by the mainstream online insurers!)0

You are supposed to declare all accidents even if you don't claim - just to warn you.
