Slightly related to this area I guess,
I am moving into a new large 5 bed house which is a new build and total blank canvas, I want to get it all carpeted and painted before we move in but am really struggling in coming up with all the colours and know what looks good or not.
Has anybody used an interior designer ? or know of interior design websites, maybe ones even with a forum for advise
Any comments appreciated.

Just got back from B&Q and they have a book for a fiver called Understanding Colour that is actually quite good. It comes with a designing program as well. It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.0

Take a look around some local show houses. Lots of new ideas in there. Take a camera.0
