I think (not sure) that by law they have to supply you with a copy of all your statements for the life of the account, under the data protection act you are entitled to this information

Here's a non-compliance letter:LETTER BEFORE ACTION

2) You have provided no notes, or documents relating to any legal action between you and myself.
3) You have provided no notes, or documents relating to instances of manual intervention.
This is not an exhaustive list by any means, it is just an example of some of the information you have failed to provide
The time for compliance with my request has now expired. If you do not comply fully with my Subject Access Request within 7 days, I shall apply to the County Court for an order to enforce compliance, together with damages at the discretion of the court.

i am currently having exactly the same problem with barclaycard. it is an old card that was passed to a debt collection agency but now repaid in full. ironically the debt collection agency are also saying i don't exist! i don't want to push them too hard though as i know 2 people who work there and would prefer they didn't know about the debt, even though it was 5.5 yrs ago0
