Court date with barclays!!?

Went through all the steps to reclaim - ended up using MCOL, then submitting an allocation questionnaire....now I have a letter from the court with an actual court date, where I have to attend!

Has anybody been in this situation, will they settle before, or am I actually going to be in court vs Barclays?

Any help greatly received

Thanks

You should always expect that if a credit card provider does not payout that you will go to court. Of course providing you are relying on UTCCR 1999 then you should be absolutely fine.

i think there is something in the success stories (normal account not credit card) about barclays having took someone to court and then chickened out and paid the person the day before they were due in court (including costs). you might want to have a look at that. I think there are two threads but try reading them back to front (newest articles first) as I did as If i remember correctly its quite a recent post
