Insuring my vinyl collection as well as my turntables and mixer

Hi,
I'm looking for a way to insure my vinyl collection (200+ records), as well as my pair of Technics 1210s and my Mackie d.2 mixer and I'm really struggling to find somewhere that will insure the whole lot. I also need my insurance to conver me if I take the kit out of my home, as I'm regularly asked to DJ at parties (although not for money) so need insurance to cover some drunken fool spilling their drink all over my prized possessions. I reckon the entire setup is worth around £1,500 for the electronic kit (decks and mixer), and around £1,200 for the vinyl.
Are there specialist insurers for this sort of thing, or is it all covered by home insurance even if I take it out of my home?
Cheers,
N

Try music guard, they offer cover for musicians and djs etc.
When you ring them ask for a quote for public liability (Damage you or your equipment do to the public or other peoples property) as if you buy cover for your equipment they do a very cheap price for public liability. You may find some venues (Especially government or council owned buildings) will not let you through the door if you do not have public liability cover.
They may even be able to cover the equipment while its in your van or car.
Note before you ring them count up how many vinyl albums, 12 inchs and 7 inches you have. They have a different rate / amount of cover for each type

If anyone recommends E&L to you, avoid them like the plague0
