lawn edging - clippings and gravel.

hi all....

recently graveled all my borders and am happy with the result.

however, as the gravel goes right up to the lawn edge, i find edging my lawn a real ball ache as all the grass clippings just fall into the gravel leaving an untidy mess.

ive angled the gravel borders so there is a drop between the lawn surface and the gravel, and have tried collecting the clippings in a seed tray (!) that i move along with every snip of the shears, but as u can imagine, this is very time consuming and not always effective on curvy bits!

im hoping there is in easy answer out there that u clever ppl can point out to me.

thanks in advance...
