My wife has now written to them, detailing in no uncertain terms that we have already cancelled the account over the phone and in writing, and if they fail to act upon our final instructions to cancel and clear the account, then we shall pursue matters with OTELO (Telecommunications Ombudsman). I'll keep you informed of their response!0

Just as I promised - an update.
We received a letter back from NTL stating that they had investigated our complaint and had now cancelled the account. All debts have been cleared and hopefully we are now NTL FREE! :j0 -
Nice one, glad you got it sorted in the end!!! we are moving soon and will ahve to do the same thing, hopefully it woill be a smooth ride, fingers crossed
